Figures Demonstrating Operation Results in November 2019

Crude Oil Production

The enterprises of the TATNEFT Group of Companies produced 2,419 thousand tonnes of crude oil in November 2019, while the production volume for eleven months amounted to 27,271 thousand tonnes, which was 411 thousand tonnes more than during the similar period in 2018. PJSC TATNEFT’s production volume amounted to 2,391 thousand tonnes of crude oil, while the production volume for eleven months amounted to 26,970 thousand tonnes (+423 thousand tonnes versus 2018).

The Company’s production from the licensed areas outside the Republic of Tatarstan amounted to 27.5 thousand tonnes, while the production volume for eleven months of the year amounted to 300.5 thousand tonnes (-11.7 thousand tonnes versus 2018).

The production volume of the high-viscosity oil amounted to 249 thousand tonnes in November with the volume of 2,271 thousand tonnes produced since the beginning of the year (+698 thousand tonnes versus the same period of 2018.

New Drilling

656 new wells were built and delivered to customers in eleven months (561 wells in 2018), including drilling of 518 production wells and 120 wells drilled to bitumen deposits with the exploration drilling accounting for 18 wells.

Active Well Stock Drilling

70 wells were delivered in the category of sidetracks and horizontal wellbore drilling for eleven months of 2019.

Drilling of Wells Outside the Republic of Tatarstan

As of today, there were 8 production and 1 exploratory well drilled accordance with the plan; drilling of the production well No. 336 and the exploratory well No. 33 for OOO Tatneft-Samara Company is underway.

Drilling of well No. 4p Severo-Khayakhinskaya is underway in the Nenets Autonomous District. Drilling of wells 5p Vostochno-Khayakhinskaya, 6p Vostochno-Khayakhinskaya and 3p Severo-Khayakhinskaya has been completed and they are in the process of production testing.

Repair of Wells

The remedial well servicing and workover crews performed basic well servicing in 9,823 wells at the sites of PJSC TATNEFT in eleven months of 2019 (884 wells in November), while workover operations were performed at 2,288 wells (160 wells in November).

Formation hydrocracking operations were performed at 872 wells (63 wells in November)

Crude oil recovery enhancement operations were performed in 1,633 wells (139 wells in November), including chemical methods applied in 615 wells (39 wells in November). 

Production Performance of JSC TANECO

The TANECO Complex of Refining and Petrochemical Plants processed 966.9 thousand tonnes of raw stock in November with the volume processed since the beginning of the year amounting to 9,785.9 thousand tonnes and the volume of petroleum feedstock in the amount of 932.3 thousand tonnes processed in November, while the volume of the petroleum feedstock processed since the beginning of the year amounted to 9,094.7 thousand tonnes.

The Complex yielded 906.9 thousand tonnes of petroleum products in November2019, while the products yield since the beginning of the year amounted to 9,151.1 thousand tonnes, including motor gasoline brands production accounting for 97.7 thousand tonnes, and 1,027.1 thousand tonnes since the beginning of the year and diesel fuel production in the amount of 307.98 thousand tonnes and 3,347.5 thousand tonnes since the beginning of the year.
