The OAO TATNEFT trade union organization unifies
- 74 primary trade union organizations,
- 675 workshop trade union organizations,
- 2,200 trade union groups.
99.7% of the Company’s employees are trade union members. This is the highest value in Neftegazstroyprofsoyuz of the Russian Federation and in the Trade Union Federation in the Republic of Tatarstan.
One of the main approaches to labor disputes settlement, accomplishment of trade union protective functions is collaboration of the trade union and Company’s administration in pursuing an agreed policy in the sphere of labor relations on the principle of social partnership. The basis of such partnership is the collective agreement which is adopted annually and covers all the employees of the Company. In 2007 there was approved the Standard of the Collective agreement of TATNEFT group of companies. It defines the structure of social benefits and guarantees for the employees and has recommendatory nature for all enterprises of the Group.
Each employee has a right and opportunity to participate in the process of the Collective agreement creation via submission of his proposal to the trade union organization. The conciliation committee, comprising OAO TATNEFT management representatives and representatives of the Trade Union Committee, reviews all such suggestions.
In 2007 the OAO TATNEFT trade union organization was awarded the diploma of RF Neftegazstroyprofsoyuz based on the results of industry enterprise collective agreements competition.
In accordance with the «Standard on procedure and principles of structural units reforming and subsidiaries reorganization», primary trade union organizations were setup in a timely manner in all newly established enterprises. From 1997 in the Company there has been functioning a Labor Protection Committee; its structure includes, on a parity basis, OAO TATNEFT specialists and trade union representatives. Authorized trade union representatives take part in labor protection public control on working places.
A Commission on Legal Issues consisting of representatives of the Company’s Management and trade union is functioning on a permanent basis. «Legal chambers», which provide support of the employees for the legal issues, have been functioning in structural units since 2006.
The employees are informed of the trade union work by means of monthly information bulletin «Tribuna» which is issued with circulation of 800 copies. The trade union organization does much to involve the employees in sport and physical culture and in cultural events.
Based on the results of the contest «Amateur talent groups among the young trade union members», which was held by the Trade Union Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan, the young OAO TATNEFT employees were acknowledged to be the best in five of seven nominations.
The OAO TATNEFT Trade Union Organization was acknowledged as a winner in the competition «Molodezhnaya Lyzhnya-2007» and awarded the diploma of the Trade Union Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan.
