The Factory of Mass Tires Continues Working on the Tires Homologation Print version

The mass tire factory "Nizhnekamskshina" (ZMSH), which is part of the OAO TATNEFT's petrochemical complex, planned to complete works on tires homologation for Volkswagen Tiguan, Ford Transit and Hyundai Elantra cars in 2012.

In 2011 ZMSH OAO "Nizhnekamskshina" manufactured 8 million 838 thousand pieces of tires with 2 million 31 thousand and 120 pieces of car tires sold directly to the assembly lines (including 750,192 Kama EURO tires) and 86 thousand and 18 pieces of light truck tires. The tires were delivered to 24 automobile factories, including OAO "AvtoVAZ", OAO "UAZ", OOO "TagAZ" OOO "SOLLERS-Elabuga", OAO "Renault-AVTOFRAMOS", OOO "Volkswagen Group Rus", SKODA, Hyundai Motors, etc. They a r e used for assembly of such cars as Volkswagen Polo Sedan, SKODA Octavia, SKODA Fabia, Renault Duster, Hyundai Tucson, Fiat Ducato, LADA, etc.

In 2011, professionals of the mass of tires factory jointly with the "Kama" scientific and technical center were each month starting production of new types of tires and introduction of new models of tires. In accordance with the plan 21 tire size models were introduced into production, acceptance certificates were obtained for 16 prototypes and 10 new tire projects were developed.
