President of Tatarstan Held a Meeting in Nizhnekamsk

Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, visited the Refining and Petrochemical Plants Complex (NPiNHZ) in Nizhnekamsk (Republic of Tatarstan). During the working visit Rustam Minnikhanov was accompanied by Shafagat Takhautdinov, General Director of OAO TATNEFT, Nail Maganov, First Deputy General Director of OAO TATNEFT - Head of URNiN (Crude Oil and Petroleum Products Sales Department), Khamza Bagmanov, General Director of OAO TANECO and Aydar Metshin, Head of the Nizhnekamsk Municipal District. The delegation made a tour of production facilities of NPiNHZ with a visit to the block for the production of sulfur and the construction site of the hydrocracking installation.
Khamza Bagmanov, General Director of OAO TANECO, presented the information about the completion of commissioning the starting complex 1A1 facilities at the meeting held after touring the facilities.
Nikolay Zaikin, Head of the construction project of the Combined Hydrocracking Installation and Petrochemical Plants, presented a report on the progress of the hydrocracking installation construction project implementation.
Beginning in 2011 concurrently with the construction completion of Phase 1A1 facilities of the Oil Refining and Petrochemical Complex in Nizhnekamsk large scale work was started on the construction of Phase 1B facilities.
The combined hydrocracking installation, which will be incorporated into the process of OAO TANECO Refining and Petrochemical Complex, has been designed to process up to 2.9 million tons of vacuum gas oil per year and consists of two hydrogen production sections (3110, 3100), a hydrocracking section (4100), an oil production section (4600) and a hydrogen purification and concentration section (3120). It will allow for increasing the yield of refined products at the account of processing the vacuum gas oil from CDU/VDU installation and receiving high-quality commercial products.
OAO "VNIPIneft" Design Institute has been engaged as an engineering company that to perform the engineering design work and supply process equipment. Giprogazoochistka, SUE "INHP", "TehArs" and other institutes have also been involved in the engineering design operations.
