A press conference of Sh.F. Takhautdinov, General Director, for representatives of federal and Tatarstan mass media, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Company's establishment was held in OAO TATNEFT on August 27, 2010.
Prior to the press conference, representatives of federal and republican media toured the social facilities of the oil capital of Tatarstan.
During the press conference Sh.F. Takhautdinov, General Director of OAO TATNEFT, informed about activities of OAO TATNEFT and the contribution of the Company in the social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan.
During communication with the press representatives the issues were raised concerning the global financial crisis and its impact on the Company, as well as about a new program of TATNEFT's energy and resource efficiency till 2020.
Journalists were interested in a dialogue with the federal authorities regarding tax incentives for small fields, development of viscous (bitumen) oil and hard-to-recover oil, and regarding the Company's plans in the development of the territories outside of Tatarstan and Russia, as well as the TANECO project implementation.
Completing the press conference, Sh.F. Takhautdinov, General Director of OAO TATNEFT, shared plans of the Company for the coming period. One of the major objectives of the Company in the near future is implementation of a number of important investment projects. The largest of these is TANEKO Refinery and Petrochemical Plants Complex in Nizhnekamsk, which will allow receiving all types of motor fuels in accordance with current standards Euro 4 and over the longer term Euro-5, as well as components of raw material for petrochemical products. The other important task is the most complete and effective utilization of the capacity of the recently commissioned solid steel cord tire factory. Also, TATNEFT will continue to actively work to increase its oil production volumes in external territories.

Figures Demonstrating Results of Our Operations in January of 2012
OAO TATNEFT produced 2,201,630 tons of crude oil in January 2012 or 100% versus January 2011 with the above-the-plan production amounting to 52,162 tons (102.4%). The amount of 2,176,645 tons was delivered with the above-the-plan delivery amounting to 79,005 tons. Totally enterprises of TATNEFT Company produced 2,225,664 tons of crude oil with the above-the-plan production amounting to 52,233 tons (102.4%). - 07.02.2012

A Representative of TATNEFT Included in the Federal Project "Hall of National Labor Fame"
Five representatives of Tatarstan and among them Vladimir Pupyshev, a remedial well servicing operator of NGDU "Prikamneft" of OAO TATNEFT, were included in the federal project "Hall of National Labor Fame" at year-end 2011. The "Labor Fame of Russia" project is supported by the Government of the Russian Federation with funds allocated as a grant for civil society organizations. - 06.02.2012

TATNEFT Got a New Canadian Patent
OAO TATNEFT continues working on legal protection of own developments overseas. The Company received patent No. 2675160 for the invention "Method of developing heavy oil deposits". The invention relates to the oil producing industry and is intended for development of extra-viscous oil deposits through horizontal wells with thermal bed stimulation - 02.02.2012

A New Filling Station of TATNEFT in Kemerovo Region
Another new station No. 445 joined OAO TATNEFT's filling station chain in the West Siberian miners' town of Kiselevsk, located at the following address: 4, Krasnokamenskaya Street, Kiselevsk, Kemerovo region.
