TATNEFT Will Help the Victims of Nizhny Novgorod Region Print version

The management of OAO TATNEFT has decided to provide charitable assistance to the victims of fires, residents of Vyksa district of Nizhny Novgorod Region.

Fires in Vyksa District of Nizhny Novgorod Region have been the largest by area in the European part of Russia. Hundreds of people in this area have been left without shelter and means of subsistence. In those hard days many partners and colleagues of the United Metallurgical Company (OMK) responded to the call for supporting the affected residents of Vyksa district. OAO TATNEFT has also decided to hand over five prefabricated houses with area of 100 square meters each to Vyksa Steel Works. The houses will be provided for the families of Vyksa Metallurgical Plant affected by the fires. Prefabricated structures will be delivered to Vyksa area and they will replace burned out buildings.

United Metallurgical Company (OMK) is one of the largest domestic producers of pipes, railroad wheels and other metal products for energy, transport and industrial companies. OMK includes 6 large plants of the metallurgical industry branch, including Vyksa Steel Works (Vyksa, Nizhny Novgorod Region) and Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (Almetyevsk, Republic of Tatarstan).
