Structural Division of OAO TATNEFT Acknowledged the Best in the Field of Labor Protection Print version

Almetyevneft Oil and Gas Production Board, which is a division of OAO TATNEFT, has been recognized the best among the enterprises of the Republic in the nomination "For the best organization of labor protection at the enterprise" in the V-th Republican Contest for the labor protection and working conditions. L. Mukhametfatikhova, leading engineer of the health and industrial safety protection office of the Company, has been acknowledged in the nomination "For the progress and conscientious work in the field of occupational safety".

The Republican review-contest for labor protection and working conditions is arranged in accordance with the national program of improving work conditions and safety for 2010-2012. Its winners are approved at the meeting of the Republican Interdepartmental Commission for the Labor Protection.

The indicators contained in the model provision on holding review-contests for the best organization of work on labor protection are taken into account in determining the winners of the contest among the enterprises and organizations.

Awarding of the winners of the review contest is made by officials of Ministries and Departments of the Republic of Tatarstan.

NGDU Almetyevneft is one of the leading Oil and Gas Production Boards of OAO TATNEFT. Since 2006 NGDU Almetyevneft has been working within an integrated management system of industrial safety, occupational health and environment protection. The issues of improving working conditions, reducing the level of occupational injuries and accidents in crude oil production, treatment and production service support are under supervision on a continuous basis.

The company has been one of the first structural divisions of OAO TATNEFT to certify workplaces by the working conditions and this year the second phase of work places evaluation by the working conditions is being completed. This work has allowed focusing on improving and bringing all the working places in compliance with rules and regulations.

In 2009, the certification bodies of labor protection GOU DPO (State educational institution for further vocational education) "RUMTS of the Ministry of Labor of the Republic of Tatarstan" performed the labor control inspection in the Oil & Gas Production Board. Based on the analysis of the inspection results and assessment of ongoing work on labor protection the conclusion has been made about compliance of OSH at the enterprise with the regulatory standards of labor protection established by the State.

The work on strengthening labor and production discipline and efficiency of production control in the structural divisions of OAO TATNEFT is to be continued in 2010.
