A conference dedicated to "Status, problems and prospects of development of the international road transport in the Volga Federal District" was held in February in the Chamber of Commerce of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. This event was organized by the Committee on Transport and Forwarding of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and a branch of the Association of International Auto Carriers of the Volga Federal District Organizers.

The Kama Trade House and the Nizhnekamsk Solid Steal Cord (SSC) Tire Factory, which are part of the Tatneft-Neftekhim Management Company Ltd., made a presentation of the solid steel cord (SSC) KAMA tires for trucks and buses at the conference

The following tire models were presented: KAMA NF 201 and KAMA NF 701. The main difference between SSC tires and the now produced combined ones is that SSC tires are environmentally irreproachable and economically profitable for the consumers. These tires ensure up to 15% lower fuel consumption, and they have a greater margin of safety and security allowing up to three times restoration of the worn tread, which increases the tires run up to 500 thousand kilometers.

The new tires of Tatneft tire manufacture are in line with a new economic situation: the running performance of the tires corresponds with the best foreign models, while their price is slightly lower. The Kama Trade House has a well developed dealer network, and in the near future it plans to open several centers for servicing SSC tires, which should attract a wide range of consumers to the up-to-date products.
