In January 1, 2007 acc. to Order No.1 dd. January 1, 2007 a uniform corporate brand of the TATNEFT Group was introduced and the work for implementation of the Program for ensuring introduction of a new corporate style of the Company started.
The uniform corporate brand was approved by the Board of Directors of OAO TATNEFT in 2006 for forming an integral image of the Company as a vertically integrated structure within the framework of implementation of the Program for strengthening the TATNEFT trade mark.
Positioning of the new corporate brand: Power. Environment. Purity of intents. Business transparency. The graphic block of the new brand consists of two parts: the name of the Company (logo) and the trade mark, representing progressive advance, growth, consistency and flexibility.
The corporate color scheme is based on a harmonic combination of the bright red and green colors. The green color represents environment and ecological responsibility of the Company. The red color represents power.
In general, the new brand has retained continuity and recognizability with respect to the previous brand of the Company, reflecting its history and corporate traditions.
Coverage of Different Areas by the New Corporate Style of the TATNEFT Group
Development of the new brand was performed with engagement of a strategic partner of the Company: DIRECT DESIGN Visual Branding, which is a leading Russian agency in the area of corporate branding.
Introduction of the uniform corporate style in the TATNEFT Group will be performed gradually during 2-3 years. At the transition stage two brands can be used simultaneously (the previous and the new one). Primarily the uniform corporate style will cover the corporate business documentation, appearance of offices and production spaces, network of fuel stations, production facilities, special transport, advertising materials, corporate Internet site, souvenirs and representation materials.
