Rustam N. MINNIKHANOV
Chairman of the Board of Directors of OAO TATNEFT — President of the Republic of Tatarstan
Graduated in 1978 from Kazan Agricultural Institute as a mechanical engineer and also in 1986 from Correspondence Institute of Soviet Trade. Since 1996 till 1998 he worked as a Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan. Since 1998 till 2010 he was the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan. Since March 2010 until the present time he is the President of the Republic of Tatarstan. He holds a Doctor of Science Degree, Economics.

mechanical engineer. Later he graduated from the Law Faculty of the Kazan State University in 2000. He worked as a General Director of Tatkhimfarmpreparaty Company starting 2004 and as the First Deputy Minister of Land and Property Relations of the Republic of Tatarstan starting December 2008. He was appointed the Minister of Land and Property Relations of the Republic of Tatarstan in March 2009.
