Marketing of Non-Core Products

Location of the Company’s production facilities in the mid-Russia is one of its major benefits. In the south-east of Tatarstan main traffic routes are concentrated, which connect the central Russia with North-Western, Urals, and Eastern regions of the country, which allows shipment of the OAO TATNEFT products to Chuvashiya, Udmurtiya, Samara, Bashkortostan, Kazakhstan, Chelyabinsk, Nizhniy Novgorod, Western Siberia, Republic of Belarus, and other regions.

Trading House of OAO TATNEFT

Sales of products manufactured by companies and subdivisions of OAO TATNEFT to outside organizations are carried out by the Trading House of OAO TATNEFT, which is a structural subdivision of the Company.

The mission of the Trading House is a comprehensive system of organizing production, marketing and promotion of products of the Tatneft Group both inside Russia and in foreign markets. The successful solution of these problems is based on a thorough market research and forecasting, strategy and tactics of the market behavior with application of marketing tools.

The list of traded goods includes the following products: plastic reinforced metal pipes, glass reinforced plastic pipes, steel pipes with anti-corrosion protection, cement mortar coated pipes with external polyethylene isolation, polymer-coated pipes, polyethylene-coated pipes, cable products, engineering products, oil exploration, drilling and extraction machinery and their components, and a number of goods destined for oil refineries and petrochemical production. It also provides overhaul of construction equipment.
Integrated delivery of necessary services is the ultimate goal of Tatneft and the Trading House acting as its representative body.

Plastic reinforced metal pipes produced by Managing Company Truboprovodservis are supplied to RUP Belarusneft, OOO Samarneftegaz–servis, OOO Stroymontazh, OOO STT. Polymer-coated pipes manufactured at the Bugulma Mechanical Factory are consumed by OAO Bashneft, RUP Belarusneft, OOO STT, ZAO Globalstroyinzhiniring. OAO Stroytekhservis, OAO TNK-BP, OAO Mellyanef and Small oil companies of the Republic of Tatarstan are the primary consumers of Polyethylene-coated pipes.


Oilfield equipment, including chain drives for sucker rod pumping systems, are purchased by small oil companies of the Republic of Tatarstan, OAO Samaraneftegaz OAO Moscow Refinery, OAO Ufa Refinery, ZAO Mashprom, OAO Kuybishev Refinery and other customers.
